WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?
This is a restaurant where style meets dim sum in an effortless embrace. The influence is Japan meets South East Asia, with more than a touch of class.
For example, if you need to attract the staff just tap the table light. The colour and brightness will bring someone straight to your table. Terrazzo tiles blend with dripping greenery and arching bamboo over two floors of pan-Asian joy. There’s a walk-through wine tunnel at the entrance which sets the scene for the experience.
This exclusive offer is valid all day from Sunday to Thursday day or night. Friday is until 4pm - so you’re thinking lunch. A great lunch is a luxury. It means that you are taking a day off to indulge yourself but who goes back to work after seven dishes?
A welcome drink will be pressed into your hand on arrival (the cocktail bar is an attraction in it’s own right). Think Japanese Negroni. Edamame will be on the table as you wait for the Dragon Rolls.
It’s all ‘Oishii’ or ‘Zeppin’, although we prefer ‘Hoppe ga Ochiru’, a rather more traditional Japanese phrase for ‘so tasty, my cheeks will fall off’.
