The Indytute head to Designer Jumble in Westfield, Stratford.
Abigail Chisman is a girl with style, honed as the editor in chief of Vogue.com she has gone on to forge a niche in the heady world of the Pop Up shop. Abigail is the owner of Designer Jumble, a shop you really have to keep watching out for as it is inclined to move, recreating the selling space with each re incarnation. At the moment Designer Jumble is reaching out to the residents of Stratford where they occupy a fabulous space in Westfield until June. The rails are filled with names to get the pulse racing. CHANEL, VUITTON, MARNI AND PRADA vie for attention - prices range from £10 to £2000 so there really is a piece of designer chic for everyone. There is are even seats for bored husbands, and a toy corner for bored babies, so you can just SHOP.
The Indytute feel very at home in these surroundings, and we think our customers will too, so we’ve teamed up to run a few workshops round the frocks - all with a vintage/recycling theme.
March 30th - Mother’s Day we have the absolutely brilliant Kirsty Kirkpatrick who runs the company Uncommonly Beautiful. A women on a mission to recycle the world. Kristy will be hosting a jewellery workshop, where you will learn to upcycle divine bespoke jewellery. 3 hours of happiness, helped along with a glass of Prosecco.
April 8th Vintage Plate Upcycling class. We provide the plates and unique Indytute transfers, and help you to design and upcycle a one off china plate, which you can take home and display with your very special treasures. These plates make the best presents, but they are hard to part with.
May 18th. Ukulele’s at the ready, we’re ready to rock the shop with our special 1920’s workshop. Tricity Vogue will have you singing ‘Five Foot Two’ followed by a rousing chorus of ‘I love a Ukulele’ among many other top tappers. Borrow Indytute ukes or bring your own. If you only learn one song on the ukulele, make it one of these.

Not just any class but classes with attitude. The kind you run to on a wet night in November, and skip to when the sun breaks through in April.
