A brilliant two-in-one for February - we are SO full of love this month. Join us with Random Acts of Kindness AND Choose Love! Stay tuned for an update on our Random Acts of Kindness (hint: keep an eye on our social!), but first -

You might remember that one of our fabulous indie businesses from last month’s blog post was the amazing Choose Love, a shop where every single purchase you make goes towards buying something similar for a refugee in need.

Celebrate Valentine’s Day together! With every purchase that you make from the 13th - 17th of February, we’ll donate £5 to Choose Love. So when you choose to love an indie experience, you also Choose Love!

Who’s Choose Love?

The #HelpRefugees campaign sprung to light four years ago, when a group of ordinary individuals wanted to step up when governments couldn’t. Since 2015, they have supported over 1 million displaced people and will continue to do so with our support! You can find out more about the history of the charity here

Choose Love provides practical, everyday necessities and goes above and beyond to support those working to build a better future; “the teachers working with students to build prosthetic limbs, the therapists helping heal the invisible scars of war, and the lawyers working to reunite families. All these heroes embody the power of choosing love.”

How can I help?

So, this Valentines Day, you can give DOUBLE the love. For every purchase from the Indytute between the 13th and the 17th of February we will donate £5 to Choose Love. You will be giving a tremendous experience, guaranteed LOLS to your partner or best friend and you will be supporting the global effort to choose love, kindness and support. Which we think is rather LOVELY… don’t you?

Love after Love

The time will come

when, with elation

you will greet yourself arriving

at your own door, in your own mirror

and each will smile at the other's welcome,

and say, sit here. Eat.

You will love again the stranger who was yourself.
