Our candle making experience combines the joy of scent with the satisfaction of making and naming your very own candle, set in the most lovely workshop in Hackney, East London.

Enjoy a glass (or two) of Prosecco while you get creative at our afternoon candle making workshop. The candle workshop begins with a 'scent test' - not really a test of course, that wouldn't be any fun, but a chance to pause for thought and think about the smells that are all around us. In a small group, you'll learn about how to mix scents, how to melt the wax, and you'll get to make AND name your very own candle, which will be posted to you a few days later (as it needs to set and have your chosen name printed on it first). This experience is the perfect introduction to candle-making, and a lovely afternoon out for those who enjoy getting creative.

This workshop is run by our partners The Earl of East, a beautiful workshop set just behind a lovely shop called Bonds. You'll get a special discount in the shop on the day too - what a bonus.

I took my Mum to the candle-workshop for her birthday, it was absolutely brilliant. Everyone was so friendly and we had a great time guessing the scents, and then learning to mix our own! My candle has just arrived in the post and i'm so happy with it!
