Discovered a delicious resturant or experience in London or Brighton? I'd love to hear from you.
Listen up! The Indytute has been scouring London and its surrounding areas for nearly a decade, handpicking only the most exceptional experiences for our customers. We're talking about the cream of the crop - activities and events that stand out from the rest.
And who's behind it all? None other than passionate individuals who love what they do. Now, here's the deal: we're looking to expand our offerings this year and we need your help. We want to hear about your amazing experiences and adventures that you think would be a perfect fit for The Indytute. And if we sign up your recommendation, we'll send you a £50 Indytute voucher as a thank you. Not only will you benefit from some extra cash to spend on an awesome experience, but you'll also be supporting independent businesses that are all about spreading joy and creating unforgettable memories.
So go ahead and share your top picks with us - we can't wait to hear all about them!
London, Brighton and Hove.
Rome wasn't built in day and neither was the Indytute. We're no noobies. I've been chipping away at my little business for nearly 10 years!
It was born after a turning 30 panic - too much stuff, working way too hard and not enough good times with friends. So I moved to a boat and launched The Indytute.
Our name The Indytute (Independent - Tutors), was dreamt up over a glass of wine after a particularly grueling day exhibiting at a trade show with my previous business at the NEC, Birmingham.
Calypso (Me - Head of Everything) and Clare (Head of Some Things) are a Mother and Daughter team.
We launched in Selfridges back in 2013 - running 90 consecutive workshops. I cycled into store daily with over 20 ukuleles in a rucksack to sell in the gift area. Phew!
Many of our partners have been with us from the very beginning. Hi-Five to Alyson and her Terrariums, John teaching Blues Guitar and Swing Dancing Scottie!
