First, collect your leaves!  Roam around the gorgeous ‘Grow Wilder’ site, gathering materials to start making prints from foliage to produce fabulous prints. This class combines relief and monoprinting techniques.

WHAT’S THIS ALL ABOUT?

In this class you will be gathering foliage and seeds which you will use to produce beautiful prints from nature. The ‘Grow Wilder’ site is spread over six acres and is a wildflower nursery. It is an inspiration area to explore, with ponds, woodland, hedgerows - even an area for food growing. A gardening hub. Keen eyes are useful tools in this class, as you search the undergrowth for leafy inspiration.

TELL ME MORE

The workshops are run by The Bristol Print Collective, whose members are artists brought together with a love for all things ink. It was founded by Jemma Gunning and Victoria Willmott, who met while studying printmaking at Bristol University. They discovered a shared interest – print workshops that can explore the medium without the need for bulky equipment, so classes can be enjoyed outside a formal studio setup.

This class lasts an inky 3 hours.
