Date night sorted! 2-course dinner perched atop a historic building with a retractable glass roof, offering stunning views. Then a catch a film while sipping delicious cocktails.

WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?

The Underground cocktail bar has gone to the other extreme. Perched on top of their building is a secluded, rather lovely rooftop terrace, featuring panoramic views of East London and the City. TT have just installed a brand new, glass and steel roof and central heating. This is London afterall. The roof is fully retractable so expect sun and the breeze during the sunny months, and snug and warmth when it’s chilly.

Wood fire sharing plates cooked on the outdoor grill are order of the day.. Think Hot smoked trout, Cornish sardines, grilled cauliflower or barbecued pork belly as well as a daily specials board. Vegans, veggies and carnivores can all dig into this menu.  If you prefer there is also a brand new restaurant on the ground floor, just opened and serving the same menu.

YOUR MOVIE EXPERIENCE

TT is also home to one of our favourite cinemas. The 52 seat vintage cinema shows cult classics and independent films.  They also have some of the best mixologists in East London.

Watching a Hitchcock classic while sipping one of their classic cocktails is joyous. Remember this was once a Victorian police station. So while up above all is light, down below expect brick walls and stone floors. The cosy alcoves were once the jail cells, so remember to raise a glass to the reprobates.

This experience runs from Tuesday to Friday and includes a cocktail, cinema screening and a £35 credit per person towards the restaurant, so choose what you like.

Dinner is served between 5-6pm then move onto a 7.30 movie (you can take your drinks in with you).

All you have to do is pay for the gift experience you wish to purchase. We’ll send a voucher including booking information to you or directly to the recipient. You or your recipient need to check the information on the voucher and book your experience date.
