You’ve got the camera and now you fancy a bit of extra help… maybe you feel you are not technically up to speed, or you would like to take your images up that extra notch creatively? You need this urban photography workshop!
WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?
This is an inspirational 4-hour urban photography workshop based in Manchester. Ancoats to be precise. It’s a pretty cool area near the popular Northern Quarter. Mills and factories have been turned into elegant flats, and restaurants and bars vie for your attention beside historic pubs and canals. There are lots of different elements to work with photographically here, from the architectural to the social, and the amazing light shows cast on a sunny day. This is the ideal area for an urban photoshoot. Your teacher will encourage you to look at a variety of themes, learning how and when to take the best shots.
The workshop includes technical guidance and creativity. Teaching starts indoors, where you will cover the manual camera functions and look at creative composition and ideas, before moving outside to put this into practise. You’ll leave the workshop with a selection of interesting urban photos that you can be proud of!
