Discover one of the largest collections of Japanese Whisky in London.
WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?
In London, Map Maison hold one of the largest collections of Japanese Whisky. In this interactive session, you not only taste their signature cocktails, but get to make one of your own - mixologist to hand. Map Maison is the perfect spot to pay respect to the spirit, while becoming just a bit of an expert on the subject, and as with any drink you only get to understand the nuances by tasting, tasting and then - well a bit more tasting.

TELL ME MORE?
Think Japan and you automatically think about presentation. Every experience is performed with care and precision. The Japanese bar culture is no different - it is ceremonial. Even the ice is judged on the shape and clarity, and the bottle is presented at the bar with reverence. As for the design, just the bottles and labelling are a wonder to behold. The Japanese have been making whisky since 1924 and they specialise in special bottlings and limited editions, the taste is actually nothing like the tradition scotch (as you'll discover in the tastings). It was a soap opera based on the founder of Nikka Whisky called ‘Massan’ that rocketed the sales of whisky to the top of their drinks list.
