On this graduate-led tour, you will see the rooms where Newton wrote his theory of gravity and hear the truth behind the apple tree myth. Marvel at some of the greatest examples of Gothic and Neoclassical architecture in the world and find out what the current students really get up to….

There is an extra charge if you want to enter the chapel - you don’t have to - but of course it’s stunning. If you’re lucky you might catch a choir rehearsal. If you don’t just marvel at the largest fan vault in the world and some pretty special medieval stained glass.

At the heart of a good punting experience are great stories. On this 45-minute punt, not only will you enjoy extraordinary views of the colleges, but you will listen to stories that span the centuries. It is an intriguing and often very funny take on the history of Cambridge.

The original punts were used for transporting cargo around the Fens. Flat and square, they are ideally suited for the shallow water, but during the 20th century, they started to take off as a leisure activity and are now an iconic part of the university tradition. All your punting guides are local students who are passionate about the city and its heritage. Ask many questions - and have a go at punting yourself - you only have to ask.

This is a shared punt, so other like-minded souls will be with you as you float along The Cam. So no rocking the boat!
