There are two options to choose from.  One has more substantial eats than the other, so you might prefer to go post curtain and it's just opposite The Theatre Royal.  The other is cosy, charming.

If you don't have the theatre tickets you can still enjoy the atmosphere with a free audio tour. Sir Ian McKellen will be your guide as you discover the history of the West End and its theatres, with a voice map to follow - 'All the World's a Stage and all the men and women merely players' - but of course, he could read telephone numbers and make them interesting. The walk lasts about 75 mins, so a convivial glass or two of deliciousness will be most welcome.

Cecilia's Wine House - If you prefer a simpler option then twinkly Cecilia’s is the one for you. They call it a wine house, rather than a bar. It's that easy to settle in. Expect a warm welcome, and some rather delicious prosecco.
